Previous Florida State WR Travis Rudolph accused of homicide

Previous Florida State champion and NFL beneficiary Travis Rudolph was captured and accused of first-degree murder on Wednesday after a shooting in Lake Park, Fla.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said it reacted to a twofold shooting wherein one male was found perished in West Palm Beach and another male was shipped to a close by medical clinic.

"Travis Rudolph #ARRESTED for first Degree Murder with a Firearm and Attempted First Degree Murder with a Firearm," the Sheriff's Office said on Twitter. "Soon after 12 PM, we reacted to a twofold shooting in Lake Park. One male was moved to the medical clinic and another was discovered perished in West Palm Beach."

In general, there are four charges against the 26-year-old Rudolph. The Sheriff's Office said Rudolph took shots at four individuals yet two people were not struck.

Rudolph's first court appearance is booked for Thursday.

Not long after the news flowed of the homicide accusation, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League reported they delivered Rudolph.

Rudolph got 153 passes for 2,311 yards and 18 scores in three seasons at Florida State from 2014-16.

He withdrew for the NFL after his lesser season and went undrafted. Rudolph saw activity in seven games (one beginning) for the New York Giants in 2017 and got eight passes for 101 yards.

Rudolph was delivered by the Giants in September of 2018 and was subsequently gotten the Miami Dolphins. He tore his ACL in his first practice and never played in a game for the group.

Rudolph endorsed with Winnipeg in mid 2020 yet never played for the CFL group.
